This project entailed designing and creating an oak kitchen with built-in cupboards and worktop from reclaimed and locally sourced Forest of Dean oak. The client had specific design ideas that they wanted, and the units had to connect into the built in cupboards. This required very detailed planning so the whole project was CAD drawn and all the elements created in the workshop, brought to site, and fitted. The client had a large and heavy reclaimed sink that was to be key to the layout, so a reclaimed oak worktop was re-cut and jointed into shape to accommodate this. As all the sections were installed the kitchen came together with the feel the client was looking for in their exposed brick and stone property, giving them a room to love that will truly last.
